The REU program provide weekly short courses
and seminar series for the educational development
in the interdisciplinary areas of materials
research as well as professional development
topics such as good research practices and
ethics, the preparation of oral research
presentations, research posters, and resumes.
Also, guest lecturers from local industry
and government laboratories supplement academic
seminars to expose students to industrial
research and professional experiences. |
